AGM

First thing, I'm NOT happy with AGM this year. Let me begin with PBSM. I couldn't hear anything they were shouting into the mic. And why do you even need to shout into the mic? Hello, mics were created so you people need not yell. Why defeat the whole purpose? And, I couldn't read anything they projected. But, PBSM, well, forget it, I can take it.

Next, the peak of it all (peak as in worst) is Badminton Club. Yes, Badminton Club. I am so uberly (virgin word, my 1st time using it ever) furious, disappointed, irritated, annoyed, mad, -fill in at your own pleasure- at it. If I had known what would happen, I wouldn't have gone there. It torments me even at this moment.

First of all, this is the only only club I've ever attended which doesn't do an election through voting. Please don't give me the what?-we-have-too-many-members-and-too-little-time thing. Even a country like ours has a voting system okay and even if it were true, I cannot agree with it one bit.

So, the committee was announced...by default. Default, however, isn't what you think it is. Sure, by default, the President remained. The Vice didn't though. What was it they said? Ah yes... "He decided to concentrate on studies." And even if that were true, considering all the amount of commitment shown over the past year, why not even place him as AJK...by default?

Secondly, were there really three tournaments held last year? I thought it was two. Anyway, that's beside the point. What was it they said? Ahh yes yes. The President; dedicated, and committed. Oh oops, did I forget to mention that the committee helped? Ya horr...better mention that too as an afterthought eh.

Thirdly...I would've thought it were a Males-Only Club if they hadn't remembered to at least elect one girl in the committee.

Fourthly, I really wonder how and who chose the committee members. Because whoever did it, I would like to let you know that you are doing such a great job. You are following after our dear government. It is no wonder that we live under such a lovely system right now.

Whatever happened to electing those who have been with the club longest, have been regular, dedicated and whom members find trustworthy? Oh what? Members? They exist? Oh ya, I forgot, wait. Well no surprises, we've after all been so forgotten we didn't get to vote.

To end this,
Let me first apologise if I offended anyone in particular. If you're a huge fan or a friend of the club or in it or something. But this is how I feel. To me, it cannot matter, at least momentarily, whether I'm childish or immature or unaccepting. It is simply how I feel. If you can help me see light or good in this matter, please do talk to me or comment here. I just have to mention my opinion. Perhaps it's cowardice and I can only mention this in a blog, but if anyone asked this of me, I will tell you what I think, truly.

Stell>> yalor...it's not really improving haha. democracy lost its meaning already, true and AGMs beginning to defeat their purpose. well, i'm just a member in the badminton club, hehe. so i don't have to worry about no one turning up. just that when you know these people personally it's just disappointing. then again maybe i'm expecting too much from them. there's my bad temper peeking out! i'll put this behind me very soon, just a bit of complaining here
